Daily Playlist: 6/12/19.
So everyday I want to custom make a playlist for you guys on what I’m loving and listening to. So check back every day to see what the mix for the day is.
1. Heart Like Mine – Miranda Lambert: If I ever had a soul sister it would probably be Miranda. I love the sass!
2.Vivo otra vez contigo – Andrea Bocelli: That voice, it will make your heart sing and give you chills. I love everything he comes out with. See I’m more than a little rock n roll.
3. Closing Time – Semisonic: Further proving that there is no rhyme or reason to my playlists…but you cannot go wrong with this classic 90’s tune.
4. Why Don’t We Do It In The Road (Take 5) – The Beatles: Because A) the White Album is life. And B) it’s a completely underrated track off of the album.
5.Crazy Arms – The Million Dollar Quartet: Few people know that there was this album with the heavy hitters of music just messing around in the studio. If you want to listen to Elvis, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash in one room, vibing and coming up with tunes then this is the album to get. I have it on a original pressing vinyl and it’s like being there in the room. You get the white noise, you can hear people talking and moving around, it’s just got a cool vibe.
6. Mode (feat. Logic) –Southpaw Soundtrack. I LOVE movie soundtracks. And this is one of my all time favorite movies and soundtracks. Die hard boxing fan right here. And this is just a great rap song.
7. Bound ta Git Down– Shooter Jennings: I dare you to be able to listen to this song and not start tapping your toes to the beat. It’s a rocking song by one of my favorite artists. I’ve been following Shooter since college and always eagerly enjoy seeing how his talent and style has evolved album to album.
8.Never Sleep (feat Alexander King) –Dusty Leigh. This is such a funky, hot song. These guys along with acts like Jellyroll and Struggle Jennings, and Upchurch are among those who I follow on every single social media platform and have post alerts set for. Just to see what they are working on. This is drive, and pride in the music they are producing. Check all of them out!
9. Low–Lenny Kravitz: Because you can never go wrong with Lenny!
10. Beneath Your Beautiful (feat. Emeli Sande) –Labrinth. The voices blend perfectly, the piano (which I’m a sucker for a song that heavily features a piano, I blame this on all those times I had Imagine By John Lennon blaring as high as it could go on vinyl.)
